Looks like a hell of a money maker for a partout!
Reserve is only $5500, has 2 built auto trans, 2 044 fuel pumps, 2 of all kinds of shit really, basically took 2 fwd builts cars and put it into one. Shell looks clean too.

Apparently the car went 10.7 and makes 640whp.

Last time I saw it forsale it said one of the engines were beginning to knock.. The rear one I believe... But besides that it is a very interesting car.

I remember seeing the build up on this car years ago, didn't know they actually finished it and sold it. Hmm, the bid just went up. :D

5500 for a buy it now price aint bad, especially how much work had to have gone into it.

I thought about it seriously for an evening, then realized I don't need another DSM even if it's that cool. I've got too many other cool projects in mind.

The guy said he didn't want it parted out and it would be a shame after all the work that went into it. The sad thing is that he could have gotten the 10.7 time with one engine. What was the point of having 2 engines again?

The idea behind that car is not to have the ultimate track car, it's an engineering exercise, and us geeks that like that crap really get a chub for stuff like this. I'm still mulling it over slightly.
