Ron's car is crazy for what it has.
Ron has some crazy driving ability to exploit the best out of that setup. I wonder what its weight is? He is also running 2 piece rotors all the way around.
I would like to try some of those Hoosier radials on my Evo.

Car is fixed, drove it a couple of miles. I don't think there are any drivetrain issues don't know about the head gasket quite yet. I will post videos later.

[QUOTE=cmspaz;392157]Will it? Will it really?
JK, the thing I've noticed is that the MRs really don't trap well, both you and Shawn had really low trap speeds for the power the car's making.[/QUOTE
went to rockfall and again fastest time with me driving it was a 12.8 at 113, and that when i said here are the keys Ron he got the car to go a 12.1 at 113.

Mark, nice to see/meet you at Rockfalls.
Kinda cool how you even paid attention to my rotors. They are the only light weight mod left from the IX RS I sold. I decided to use them for this event. Prior to yesterday, my best time was 11.20 or 11.1 at 123mph. Somehow the cold weather was working yesterday even with 30 psi in the hoosiers(couldn't find a gauge to borrow).
As for weight, I don't know the exact number. I remember getting on the scale at Brainerd and it was around 3000lbs. With full interior. Saturday night I decided to remove the seats and use a light weight race seat, remove bumper beam in front(rear already gone), remove condenser fan, strut bar and swap rotors. I'd say I took out almost 100lbs. Never expected anything better than 10.9x but somehow it kept getting quicker. At the same time trapping the fastest ever for me.

2900lbs is pretty light for an Evo, my stripped 1G weighed in at 2860.
