2.3l 95 TSI AWD

Hey

Selling my 2.3l TSI AWD to buy an evo9 after deciding I need to pay off engagement/wedding bills, and I want to get back into road racing, and autoX. I also want a 4 door car.

Bad

Needs a new turbo drain tube (little oil drops)
needs a middle timing cover
has a cell
has abs light on
needs shock towers finished
auto tensioner issue
Hard start occasionaly

Car has new metal welded in to fix rusting towers, but it needs some seam sealer to seal it up, and needs to be sanded and painted. The new OEM tensioner didnt want to work on the car, so it was sent back. A dif. tensioner with 40k is on it, but you'll obviously want the new one. It was sent back to MAP, and I'm waiting to here from them. The car has days where it hard starts as well. It will always start, but it has to crank for awhile which indicates an issue.

Good

Nearly everything was repalced on the engine. All new pumps, gaskets, pullys, and around 1K for Machining. I have recipts for everything as well to the best of my knowledge

I do drive this car 100 miles a day to work and back and never had an issue other than the annoying hard starts in the morning. Body is in pretty good shape excpet for one rust spot on the drivers rear wheel well, and minor dents and scratches (like most 95s) Interior is fair, normal wear on the leather seats, has power seat button missing, and no radion. comes with a triple pod vent bezel so that big hole in the vent wont be there like in the pic lol.

Fixed a few issues on the car. It starts normal now, got a new tensioner for it also. Has descent tires as well. Looking to pay of an engagement ring before mid december and winter hits. fixed drain tube, but it still has an oil leak.

I don't want to pay interest in that engagement ring lol. Plus it's got a descent oil leak prolly in the front cover im guessing as well. Just want it gone to get all my debt paid off lol, and get a 9.

Haha I would too. I don't want to sell it, but cuz i put so much money into it instead of the ring now I have to sell it for the ring. Kind of a bitch lol
