Would be awesome, but being the state has no $$ to support something like that they'd need some DEEP pocketed investors. Not sure of if a facility of that level would ever survive in an area where the season is so short.

I agree. I'd love to see this happen too, but it never will. Its going to take someone with Bill Gates money and brains to bully around lawmakers. Nobody wants something loud in there backyard. And since the whole state of Minnesota is close to someone's backyard, it just won't happen.

You get the same reaction from the average Joe about building a big track, as you do with building an oil refinery. Nobody wants it near them.

I also think the website is a little cheesy. And I couldn't find waldo in the background image. LOL.

When they tried to get this to go through a few years ago, they actually had local people show up and complain that the Top Fuel dragsters would crack the foundation of their houses. This is the type of opposition that you are up against. Albeit, a dumb reason. It's a reason in their minds to vote against it being built any where near them.

Done, they have big $$$ investors and this is probably the best attempt at getting a track in the state, so just do it unless you hate cars or racing.
