Yes they do... and I don't know the answer to that. I wondered the same thing.

Somebody's replaced the muffler or tip with a generic, the non-turbo tip is different than that. All turbo cars did have the dual chrome tipped muffler.

See above post

My guess is that it corroded (these often do as far as I know) and the shop that replaced it couldn't find an OEM muffler.

I'm not saying anything bad about the car, if I didn't already have a DSM, a sports car, and a convertible, I'd buy this. Low mileage, stock DSM's are getting harder to find.

As a sidenote, I had some work done on my car in HS by Humes, excellent work from what I remember, it was a LONG time ago. :D

Thanks :) We're still doing the same good work!

The car has brand new brakes on it and a full tank of 91. The car is available for test drive at any time. Tires are also like new.

In the interest of full disclosure: one thing I did discover is that the gentlemen who owned it before my father (the first owner) stored it outside in the winter sometimes. As such, there is SOME surface rust. This could very easily be grinded off and recoated. In my opinion, the person who purchases this car should do it because it's such a prime example.
