In all honesty, I'm just trolling, I don't give a shit.
I was out to one of the meets at MAP, but none of this shit runs late enough on Mondays and I usually close. I'd honestly be out for free beverages, the people who go that I do know (MAP crew, a few friends), and some needed shooting practice with my camera.

Honestly I am surprised by this. I don't see anyone getting mean mugged. I look through my albums from the meets, I see more then 50-100 cars by far, and a lot of nice cars.
A lot of evo's and dsm's as well.
We do have some younger kids, they tend to flock to these things cause they're free and the NOS energy drinks are free.
But overall we do a good job of policing for stupid behavior, as well as trying to make people welcome.
The only ricey cars we have by common definition are parked in the back of the lot.
Like I have said, go through the album I posted or any other album of a meet I have and see for yourself.
I saw Joel getting hated on for standing up for rkc. He's just a guy who's passionate about the car meets.
Yes like any meet or show there are some junk cars no one wants to see, I just walk past them and check out other cars.
If it's not a few of you's thing cool. I posted here because it is for a lot of people a really good time.
I challenge everyone to come out and make up your own mind. It doesn't cost anything, so come out and be your own judge.
The only advice I can give is, just because someone is looking at you rolling in doesn't mean they're mean mugging, keep an open mind and don't be a chicken shit sitting in your car and or only talking to the few people you know.
I see it happen a lot where people aren't afraid to voice their opinions online but in person they're too chicken shit to say hi and introduce them self.
That's about it, hope you guys will come out and see for yourselves. The new location should help to better control parking as well as draw in some new cars from Wagner's.

Did anyone come out to the meet tonight? If so what did you think? And if you had any thing that you would change?
I know there are some things that need to be addressed like lighting and trash bins.
Over all I think the meet went well a lot of nice cars, you had to just serf through the daily drivers. Just like all car meets the more people that go the more daily drivers and junk will fallow.

I didn't go to this one, I went to several late last year and it was just ok. Honestly, there were too many cars I, myself didn't enjoy. Like big 300c's with chrome rims and cars that honestly need way more work before they go to a show.
I will go again, because my buddy likes these as his pontiac g8 buddies go to them, but they are not really my thing. There is honestly something about them that rubs me the wrong way, I can't honestly say what it is, but something is amiss. I don't think these are as bad as some say but I can understand why most don't go.

That's cool you came out before. I understand your feeling on the meets. that is why it is a meet not a show. A show is something like car craft where you have to pay to enter and there are judges. and they do restrict what comes in... sorta. lol
This is kinda like come one come all as long as your are a gear head have a open mind It is a grate time.
hope to see more mitsu love out there.

My Evo is daily driven.
Is there a problem with that?

If you don't know what I mean then common sense isn't your strongest sense...

I've been and know what the meets are about. Joel knows me and knows why I go to the meets.
Once my car is up and running I'm sure I will attend one or two, but I'm not much of a guy for standing around watching parked cars.
Troy I appreciate your effort here and effort with the track.
Good luck.

The one time I went to one at MAP, I remember a flashy and loud and "by common definition" ricey silver chrysler that was front and center.

I may stop by one of these things if I've got nothing better to do on a Monday and give it another shot, but I remember 5 yrs ago when it was "better".
