I saw a few 1g's getting oil off the oil filter housing using mitsu-turbos which is a no-no so for anyone that was there run your oil off the head unless you have a restrictor in the line but I would still go to the stock location on the head. The get together was great this year and I wish I could have stayed longer but I went to watch the twins win for once. Someone have the winners from each class since I left early?
This car looks like a wreck that should be in a mad max film but under the hood was very nice.
Who had the fastest DSM at the get together again?
My best bet would be on the cheez head that had the super! clean purple 2g that was stock except he had a 14b so he probably blows black smoke. It was the only 2g I couldn't find strut mount rust on. Like they say, some times it's not always how fast it is except when it's a 1g that counts. 2g's look good but they are like the guy that got all dressed up for the prom but didn't have a date so they had to steal one from the 1g, am I right?
Apparently you find out who has the fastest car at an event that isn't at a track, there was only one 2g without strut tower rust, 14b's have to blow black smoke, and something about prom. Oh, and you can't run the oil feed from the OFH on mitsu turbo's even though people have been doing it for 15+ years without issues...
I saw maybe 2 or 3 2g's with strut tower rust. LOL
