on my 2g gst the tps is having issues. it idles anywhere from 1500-2000rpms, but the car runs fine otherwise. it threw the code p0120 throttle/ pedal position sensor A. i have put a new tps on and it still is idling high. the plug that goes onto the tps looks broken, and im having trouble finding a replacement plug for it. so my question is since the plug is a 4 wire plug and the tps has 4 tabs inside of it can i just solder the wires to those tabs? or is there anything else i can try to fix it?
any help is appreciated, thanks

did you make sure the sensor was in the correct position? Can't they be moved a bit?
When I had to put my 2g tps sensor on a 1g throttle body I had to log tps volts and make sure it was a certain voltage and had to keep moving it just a hair to make it perfect. Maybe that might be your problem?
