So this popped up the other day and the car won't run right. It a cyl. 1 malfuntion. I dont have ton of time to narrow things down, just looking for a good place to start. Im gonna pull the harness and ecu and check for any open wires or damage to the ecu.

Spark plug, spark plug wire, coil, transistor, injector. In that order.

Check ignition like Steve said but I've never seen a spark plug set a p0201.
Try swapping injector #1 with another cylinder. If your problem moves it's the injector itself. If it doesn't move locations it is more than likely a wiring issue with the #1 injector circut.

I'm gonna try to swap injectors wires around and see if the problem follows the wire. As far as the spark plugs go there brand new bpr7es and new wires. I have good spark at all 4 plugs too. So I think I ruled out all the spark related stuff
Thanks BTW.

Did you ever clear the code or dis connect the battery after clicking the check box for dsmlink to not look for mis fires?
