Is there any verification thats its a precision turbo? They usually have a badge with the model and brand name.

PTE turbos will have a sticker or the part number engraved on the compressor housing outlet.

Take a look at the backing plate for the compressor cover for a plate with numbers on it. Or pull the housings and measure the wheels for the small and big diameter of both. What does the exhaust housing have on it?

The .70 A/R on the compressor cover means its a T04E compressor housing. 3" inlet and 2.5" outlet.

Yes the turbo does have a bade verifying that it is a precision turbo, its just that there is no sign telling what kind the turbo is.
