Td05H Boost creeping to 22 PSI?

I have a Td05H on my 97 gst spyder. I recently installed my external o2 housing ( Screamer) ever since then when i peg it i will hit wastegate pressure of 10 psi and then at about 4500 rpms it will creep up an spike at 20-24 psi. What would make this happen?

this is a common problem with dsms when increasing the exhaust flow and still running the smaller turbos. your turbo wastegate is to small to cope with the added flow the new 02 housing provides.

your options are to port the wastegate area so it can vent more exhaust. go with an external wastegate, or put the stock o2 housing back on.

Okay well I might just gett it tunned this way an leave it .. Idk I put a stiffer spring in my b.o.v an now it gradually makes the boost up so if I can get it tunned like this then it should be good
