My older brother has a 87 conquest he just had the engine rebuilt on it and he is having problems getting his turbo working correct anyone willing to lend a hand and help him get his car set up? could maybe give you a beer and some good conversation but money is tight he is unemployed and just trying to get the car ready to sell right now.

the car is located in my brothers garage in coon rapids maybe if somone lives up there maybe could swing by some time take a look?

the problems he is having is the turbo is making goofy noises is getting boost too soon and the blow off valve isnt working.

i dont think there is a such thing as boost to soon. a turbo will always build boost as fast as it can with the throttle floored.. please explain.. as for the bov check the vac line going to the intake mani for cracks ect.. as for the noise, its like a fluttering noise? if so its because of the bov not relesing the pressure in the charge pipes, causing back pressure on the compressor wheel, then leading to it to slow down quickly..
