1997 Eclipse GSX

For some reason even after being a member for several years I've never taken the time to make a project thread. I picked this car up with the intentions of flipping it, but somehow I ended up keeping it. I've always had plans of making my Galant a 600+ whp car, but I decided that probably wasn't a good idea since I'm still in school. This car more or less became my "compromise" car. I never had any big plans for it yet somehow it's turned out pretty decent. Be patient with me while I dig up some old pics to show you the different stages this car has been through.

Got home from a semester abroad in Europe in fall 2009 and threw a VRSpeed Factory FMIC on:

Got sick of all this stock business and swapped in my freshly rebuilt 6 bolt from my Galant:

The mod list at this point was:
-6 bolt swap
-HKS 264/272 cams
-Evo III 16g
-Denso 550cc injectors
-Injen intake
-DSMchips flashed 2g ECU
-3" Thermal turboback exhaust
-Comp stage 4 clutch

I had it dynoed this past fall at the fall dyno event. On the meh DSMchips flash and 23 psi I made 275/265:

These pics are actually from last summer. The paint shop did some more prep before painting. Once I get a second I'll post some pics after the paint was done, overspray wasn't an issue :)

Looks good so far! What color did you go with? Same, just a respray?
