I still don't understand the point of bastardizing a car that has a plethora of stout engines available for it.

Because he can. SBC in mustangs are pretty common nowadays. Plus, true hot rodding is working with what you got to go faster.

I'd take a high reving 327 sbc over a 2v 4.6L anyday.

Wow, jesus christ guys!

Like above, people put chevy engines in mustangs all the time!

Looks like you'll have some fun if you get it done.

I think that HX35 might be a little small! How about two of them! (I used an HX40 on my low compression 2.0L...er 121 cu in engine...

HX55? discuss.

Much more appropriate for the displacement in my opinion. My Brother uses a HX52 for pulling on a 5.9L, but it only revs to 4k rpm. With a higher revving 5.3L, an HX55 would be ( . Y . )

Lol I wish I had a grand to put a cobra motor in it!!!let alone get it tuned and all that otherbstuff. Also the Chevy motor going in it is a stroked 327 with eagle crank and rods probe forged pistons and such. Far from a shitty chev motor.

It's going to cost you more than a grand to even get it in there and running. Especially turboed...

I'm kinda just using the hx35 because it was laying around off my Cummins truck. I have a 96 chev with a Cummins in it and my dad has super duty. So I figured could just use it I i figure something else out?
