Thank you for all of the birthday wishes... wish i could say my day was going smoothly but its 8:30 and i already have a story.
This is how the day was supposed to go:
Wake up at 5:30, Drive to Hopkins to drop off the car to get detailed, get a ride from the detailer to work, get picked up from work and dropped off at my nice detailed car.
So heres how it actually has been going so far....
Wake up at 5:30, make coffee and head out the door on my merry way... Get to the detailer and no one is there, but i was early so no big deal, until i look in the back seat... there is the only car seat we have and jessica needs to run errands today. Great. So i say, well i have time and drove home to Maple grove (detailer is in Hopkins about 20 minutes away.)
Get home, drop the car seat off, fill up my coffee and head out the door back to the detailer. Get all the way to the detailer and hes still not there, so i get out and stretch, reach into my pocket and feel two sets of keys. "OH hell no" So i call jessica and tell her she may have to use the intrepid today, and reach into my pockets again and feel the intrepids keys... UGH!
So time to drive home again, and decide ill just reschedule the detail of the car. As i am pulling in i get a text from jessica saying that one of the dogs crapped on the carpet in the living room, and it smells.
Fill up the coffee again, drop the keys off trying not to smell the dog poop, and head out.
On 694, driving around 70 mph pondering about what a crazy day this has been, when all of the sudden brake lights come on and a sudden spat of traffic makes me slam on my breaks so much i had to swerve into the median lane. Car was fine, but i look down and my coffee spilled into the cup holder and place where i put my phone, which also had coffee on it now.... Turned out the traffic was due to some guy Rear ending a school bus.
Cant wait to see what else this day has in store for me.
