It seems like a probability, hard to know for sure but that was Brian @ FP's hypothesis

I was kinda beating around the bush there, sorry.

If you don't remember shutting the turbo down while it was hot, I don't think that was the cause. Its a possibility it could of been from the previous owner, but FP's turbo quality has been decreasing and I think this is another case.
