Quick background: I bought an IX MR GG brand new in June of 2006 for $32,500 and it has ran on E85 for 4 years straight, 4500+gallons worth of the good stuff. 11.1@126.5mph is my best time @432hp/395tq DynoDynamics at 31psi.
First Post will be the "Stock Block 2.0 Era."
Second post will be about "2.3 Block Era"
Moar background:
Jan of 2007 http://www.evomn.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=731&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 I was already set on going to E85 soon after my 92 tune. It is funny looking back thinking 23psi on 92 was maybe too much boost.

April 2007 Sometime in April I converted to E85 with Shane at DB Performance eventually making anywhere from 340-360hp and about the same in TQ depending on the current condition of the car and available fuel.
Fall 2008 Before a BIR event in late 2008 Shane@DB did this http://www.evomn.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2876 377hp/377tq car had only two passes at the track and went 11.9 at 118mph.
May 2009 Then I bought an FP Red turbo in May of 2009 and Shane did this http://www.evomn.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=35432&highlight=#35432 432hp/395tq
June 2009 Oh noes! I lose to B-Rad in the finals at the first Annual Proving Grounds event put on by MAP. Car ran many 11.1 and 11.2 times that day all around 127mph riding out fourth gear at 8500 rev limiter through the traps (6 speed gearing)

August 2010 I was approached by FiD and they offered me a chance to test out one of their new stock turbo manifolds and I was very thankful for the opportunity. Here is the writeup on the events:
Hot one today. First pull today was 437hp. Car is basically the same as the 443hp run from back in June. Same graph curve, boost, AFR so that was nice to see, just a little less power and though the dyno compensates for weather it was still hot and muggy in the dyno room..
Swapped the MAP ported exhaust manifold out for a FiD tubular manifold on the dyno after a few baseline pulls and it picked up an honest 15+hp and more power pretty much everywhere through out the power band with no real noticeable increase in lag (very slight increase).
Graph shows a couple of the MAP ported stock manifold graphed and a couple of the FiD manny. Single best bolt on I have tried outside of turbo and full exhaust. :D

I want to mention something about Shane Ziegler and Dan Wolfson at DB Performance. These guys have been some of the most helpful, knowledgeable and humble guys I have ever had the opportunity to work with in my 15 years of playing around with cars. Anyone can sell you a part, anyone can perform work on a car and collect your money, anyone can have a fast car that makes or does whatever but what matters to me is the enjoyment I get out of that journey to that end goal and then the next. Shane and Danny have made my performance cars more fun than I could ever have imagined.
