That will suck if it's true. The AWD market will be a bit boring, unless someone else steps up. Subaru's production cars haven't been on the cutting edge of anything for over 10 years. I guess there is the GTR, but it's out of the price range of most people. Maybe Honda will come out something. :)

Mitsubishi really needs to stop doing this to us. Get a great product and either fuck it up or just eliminate it.

they should release an Evo E (for electric) and use the concept they originally had for the Evo X. Gas powering the front wheels, electric powering the rears.

I just don't see why they can't push it as a hybrid. Both Porsche and Ferrari have announced hybrid gas-electric cars, I don't see why Mitsubishi can't take the Evo in that direction.
It seems to me like this is just another cop-out response, as per usual.

Considering people are still driving around 20+ year old DSM's I don't think 'Style will be going anywhere for a while :) That gives us until at least 2031 for the X's :D
