In the Rosedale area there is a shop that does custom stuff on trucks and what not, anyway there is a guy that works out of there shop. In the yellow pages he is the Tint Man, pretty cheap, lifetime warranty. He did my car and the tint is flawless, he even did the 2G back window with two pieces and not one single bubble or air pocket.
I think I paid 160 for every window accept the front of course.

7.5% tint huh? Cops wil make you scratch that off pretty quick.. as the legal limit is 50%. Plus at night you wont see shit.

Im curious why you would want that dark then if you know youll get tickets for it... I just dont see the logic.

my logic is that the darkness is asthetically pleasing on my car.

What is the legal limit? Cuz 7.5 isnt anywhere near 50. Sorry for being clueless, maybe im just missing something obvious again. Ive heard that 35% was the limit in either Minnesota or Wisconsin.

50% is the "legal" limit in mn.
Well Im sure it will look really nice, Id go that way if I could also... but I dont want to pay the same money it took to get the tinting done a second time in a ticket... or numerous times.

I dunno... I bet I could argue that many cars from the factory come with more than a 50% tint. Have you ever seen an actual 50% tint? It's very difficult to notice.
I personally think that cops have more important things to do than try to guess what your tint % is, and you could probably squirm your way right out of the tickets. My $0.02.
