I need a new hard drive for my computer. I got the blue screen of death 3 times within the last week. And this last time the computer wont boot up (hard disk read error). So Im looking for a replacement. Its for a Dell D500 Laptop. Its an IDE 2.5". I believe its like a 30GB but Ill take any size. Bigger would be nice. Also CHEAP! LOL.
Let me know what you have

I might have a live one floating around the box of dead ones, I'll check for you just in case D can't get one.

Do you know if there is a way to convert it to a SATA? I got a killer deal on one and thought it would fit(didn't realize I had an IDE)

Sure, if you want to turn it into an external drive. :) Otherwise it's not practically possible.

Thats actually what I did, found a cheap enclosure and want to use it as an external. But it doesn't seem to work. I haven't messed with it too much tho.
