Makes me love my automatic seat belt all the more. I always feel safer for some reason when i snap the hip one in as well. Wow thats a touching story. I dont understand why bikers are not required to wear helmets . . . ?

Its insane that MN law doesnt require a helmet. But then again, most states have weird bike laws.
MN doesnt require a helmet, but doesnt allow bikes to split lanes.
CA Does require a helmet, but allows splitting lanes. (i have almost hit numerous bikers due to this, as they think this law allows them to speed between cars, when in reality they must be doing less than 20 mph.)
They should just combine the two where you need a helmet, and you cannot split lanes.

I can understand the MN helmet laws, as I don't think the government should be telling people what they can and cannot do when their own personal safety is at risk and nobody else's, however it is my choice to always wear one. I feel the same way for seatbelt laws
