WTF Happened with this seat?

So I got some new Corbeau seats, and i'm pulling out my stockers, and on the driver side, this happens

So there is a nice hole where the seat bracket is suppose to be...
How should I go about fixing this...? I mean I have never seen anything like this, ever.

yeah, it's like that on the other side as well....
I just don't understand how the hell someone messes that up... once I get better lighting tomorrow ill snap a picture of the floor of the car.
