Whats the reason for not having a 2 day event this year?

Poor turnout on the road course last year :( Hopefully we can fill it up this year and have it all weekend in 2012!

Dunlop revised the original Z1 and made the Z1*Spec.

Many of us run that type of tire for lapping days, anyway...it isn't racing.

I personally run R888's. Another buddy that would most likely attend runs NT01's. i've went out on cold tires and its not fun. Typically when i think auto-x its max 40mph.

Any rough idea the effect on cost to run flying laps? At MAM if i recall it was only like $10-20 to rent a transponder for the day.

if everyone was willing to pay the extra $20 then it wouldnt be a problem. We cant have just 10 people want them.

the big track is being used on sunday. Hopefully next year we'll have the big track both days again.

If anyone wants a flying lap time, just talk to me at the event and i can arrange it for you. However, and obviously it wont count for the HSAX competition that starts at 3pm.

Not a real huge fan of auto-x to start w/. That and the car just spins the tires in the low gears which really makes it pointless. Would much rather run open lapping road course then auto-x any day.

thats why i feel option 3 is the best of both worlds. its basically a full lapping day, and as a bonus, we'll be doing timed laps at the end.

As would I, but I'd rather have seat time than sit at home.
