I like the picture location, use to live in Franny last year. But those don't look like 3k rims that i've seen. Like the truck though, something fun to play around with it looks like.

One of the clamps holding the fuel line on the filter apparently broke, fuel line came off the filter and fuel splashed all over, ignited and set the right side of the engine bay on fire. There wasn't too much damage, mostly just the plastic inner fender, and a little bit of wiring damage.
I went to u-pull to get a replacement fender liner and the necessary wiring harness today, all I need is a new air cleaner, some fuel line hose and some clamps.

That's nuts. Glad it didn't completely go up in flames.

Yeah, I had just left work. I was on hwy 5 just south of the airport. And BTW, the airport police are totally worthless. The thing was still burning when they got there at first, and the first officer to come up to me had nothing in his hand but a flash light. All I could think was "Really? You show up to a car fire with a flashlight and nothing else in your hands? Where the hell is your extinguisher?" Another squad pulled up and she promptly grabbed her extinguisher and proceeded putting out the flames while he casually walked back to his car to get his.

It's mostly just smoke damage and fire extinguisher powder. I'm gonna clean as much off tomorrow as I can. I've heard that powder stuff can be corrosive.

Well I drove this thing for the last time on Thursday evening. I posted it on Craigslist just to see if I could get any bites on it, and ended up trading it for a '98 Escort zx2 + $250. I needed something that got better gas mileage, and he needed a truck to haul stuff for his job. I think I got the better end of the deal since it had recently started burning oil pretty badly, I don't think he noticed it when he took it on the test drive though...
