Well it look like I am going to lean towards a dsm for a dd. Far as mods I was thinking cold air e16g mabey a gm mass. Cams from a 92 and up exhaust 2 3/4 or2 1/2 turbo back. And mabey 550 injectors and that is about it for mods. O the car is a tsi awd. But my driving habits are not good you could say
What I drive is a 95 mazda protege 5 speed with a 1.5t and that t doesn't stand for turbo lol and it see 5 to 6 k every day and has 262000 on it. So yea I have a led foot. But that could be it is a slow car and probley go away with a car with power lol.
Well I plan on putting in new piston and rings in the dsm do to a valve is in one piston. So does any one know of any pistons that are reasonable priced for the quality. I was looking on e bay but don't trust it lol. But has any one use NPR pistons. Are they any good?

Skip the GM mas and go with a 2g mas. It'll save you a lot of drivability headaches.

Use stock 2g pistons on 1g rods. More than strong enough for your goals.

my mods atm are 2 1/2 turbo back, e316g, bc 272, wescon pistons 1g rods(guy i bought from was building it big but i dont want it that big lol), wally 255hp(stock fpr and its fine dispite what people tell you, this came from shane himself), maft with gm maf in blowthrew(it runs fine), and a ets 7"street fmic, im waiting to put in my stage 4 clutch and my injectors to bring it to shane to have it tuned on a chip and he said i will be looking at around 350 awhp

So what is the benefit of using 2g piston ? I know that they will give you a higher compression

It's funny that people constantly mention being stranded from an alternator. Mine went out yesterday and I had to walk two miles home. Luckily I have other cars to drive, but it was kinda fun getting the old girl out for a spin.
