Just a heads up.
Since the tax cut extension took so long to get approved, the IRS is behind on programming their systems.

Wait for what...? Your refund? Thats what this thread is about. ;)
I'm guessing wait for this to be moved to the political section. :)

So does this apply to "everyone" that itemizes, or just people with certain itemizations? I personally only itemize my House Loan, License Plate Tabs, and Property Tax. And I usually do my taxes the same day I get my W2. So wondering if this affects me. I like getting my refund early, but if I have to wait a month, oh well I will survive.

It's just general info for everybody. Not a political thread.
Only since Tom hasn't chimed in yet. ;)
The delays, if any, shouldn't actually be that bad. There will be a lot more people this year looking at the details of their taxes (or they should be) instead of just jumping online to file.
