Last night was fuking epic! Last night in vegas so we went hard at it. I ended up losing $70-80 or so and was just barely standing we drank so much! I was just partied out, everyone was ready to go, and I had $4 left in chips at the roulette table. I decide to bet inside (I always bet outside), and ask Anna what number to bet on...gunnning for 'lucky 7' or some shit...she says, 'split the zeros!' and I just plop the chips down as the guy spins the ball/wheel. I start to get up, look over, it bounces into the single zero!!! Bam, $72 back in my pocket, thanks to Anna!

This morning wake up feeling awful but its ok, going home today, had a great time. We get to the airport, spend *forever* getting through check-in (express even) and security. Get to the gate, they urge us to get on the plane asap as the weather is bad bad bad in Fargo.....as we're gonna board, they cancel the flight. FUCK!

Wait wait wait.....it's New Year's Eve...and I'm stuck in VEGAS!??! FUCK YEA!

We call about 12 hotels and finally find a room at the Mirage. $415 for the night, holy eff! Fuk it, sold. I just checked in, and they dropped the rate to $299 for me, got us right into a nice-ass room on the 4th floor. The chick at the check-in counter said that four years ago rooms were $1000 on NYE!

Crazy awesome, expect to have some fun tonight--they close down Las Vegas Blvd from 6:30pm onward and you can just wander wherever, this is gonna be awesome!

Yeah man, it was raining ice the whole way home from work today. There are much worse places to spend NYE! Have fun.

Ha nice. I drove to Fargo in that friggin storm and it was intense. NYE in Vegas sounds like a blast. I would have thought the airline would have paid for your hotel room though considering the flight was cancelled.

I think they only pay when it's not their fault.

We few alliegent. From what my brother-in-law was telling me (he booked the flights) they do not reimburse you for anything, unless you want to sell your ticket back to catch a flight on another airline. We had no other options so we roughed it out :)

Last night....fuck. I barely made it to the airport today for my 2:30pm flight. I have some pics and blurred memories, it was just awesome! Sitting on the runway waiting to leave now; Fargo interstates are all closed still so idk what will happen when we get there. All I know is anna's car is gonna be under 15+ inches of snow!

Postin on style (a few posts up!) from vegas like a boss!

Tens (or hundreds?) of thousands of people flooded the strip, they shut down Las Vegas Blvd and opened it entirely to foot traffic. Never seen this many people in one place at a time, it was absolutely a massive massive massive party!

Made it back to fargo, but interstates are still closed. Everyone I'm with is freaking out about how bad the roads are and blah blah blah, I'm just ready to get home. I've been on worse roads when out having fun :)

Highways are closed by DOT pussies who don't have winter tires on their DDs. :D

Wasn't there a 100 car pileup or something up there and that's why they closed 94?
