Just wondering, it's been out there for a while, price is pretty low. There's most likely something wrong with it given that, anyone know anything?

I actually went and looked at it like a month ago and the guy is super shady and the title wasn't even in his name.

there's a big rust hole under passenger quarter, also, the guys apartment was cleaned out and he has 3 cars for sale at the same place.

Doesn't sound like the greatest of prospects. Rust is an automatic out after what I went through on the last one.

Since I'm sure I'll be asked, there's been discussion between me and my father of picking up something as a project, mainly something somewhat quick that's also winter drivable, and he's brought this ad up like 20 times in the past month.

On the rust note of this car.. under the hatch was really bad but looked nice from the outside.. soon it would explode like crazy.. besides the guy being shady, title not being in his name, and the rust.... I thought it drove really nice and was super clean inside. Also, the car was 100% stock! Even had the original air box.

Yeah, but at the same time, the rust sounds like exactly what my old car had on the upper half. And most of the guys here know what that translated to on the lower half... Something that needs thousands in rust repair is not my idea of a good starting point.
