Im in the prossess of removing my engine wireing harness so I can add in the wires I need for the auto swap and do some tucking to clean up the engine bay. I have the harness removed from the motor batery and fuse box under the hood. I also have the harness unhooked from the ECU.

My question is. How do you get the harness through the fire wall? it looks like it goes behind the heater core then through. Is there any way to get it out without removing the heater?

If it's anything like my Subaru, your wiring harness will indeed go behind your heater core. The heater core will definitely have to be removed, there's probably a plastic "tunnel", lets just call it, that it goes through when over/behind the heater core, not sure about this but that's the way it was on my Subaru.

Good luck dog!

Nope, heater motor and AC core has to come out, you don't need to remove the heater core as it is in the center under the dash. The whole assembly breaks into three pieces, the two pieces to the right have to come out. It's not a quick job.
