Hey guys,
I wanted to put this out there as i got to thinking on the ride to work.
This season I would like to set up a Mitsustyle Volunteer event, such as all of us getting together for Toys for Tots, a Disabled veterens charity, or some other charity that needs help around the seasons. (maybe someone suggest a charity).
I want to see who all would be interested in something like this. If there is some guys that want to get together on a day to help some of these nice charitys and donate a night to help some people during the holiday season, I could contact a charity that we would like to help and see what dates they need some help.

What do you guys think?
Thanks
Tom

I actually looked for Veteran's stuff since MNHomosexual (MNSubaru) already does the whole toys for tots thing. There really wasn't much to tell you the truth. Maybe you could talk to the MMAF (Minnesota Military Appreciation Fund)? Or possibly the DAV (Disabled American Vets)?

Have you thought of any other Charities? Like the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer thing? Just an example I guess.

I would be down for helping out a good cause, especially if its for Style.

If we were to seriously put together a group effort I wouldn't mind doing something for this foundation as it affects me directly.

Cool idea, I'm game.

A thought I had when you mentioned this (and I know it's already happened this year) is Sleepout for the Homeless. Effectively, we'd raise some money ahead of time, set up camp for the night, then pretty much do whatever. There's a big kickoff event in downtown Wayzata with food and whatnot that we could attend, and afterwards we could make like real homeless people and drink the night away in front of a fire back at wherever we're camping. The fund raising is also optional, just camping out is fine too just for raising awareness for the event.

Just an idea I thought I'd throw out there.

Im down for getting drunk, or helping with Toys for Tots as I already have prior experience with that. But Toys for Tots is run mostly by the Marines.
