I love my 1G, but i wouldn't mind having some one smash into the back of it . . . pick up a new shell build the motor with some of the insurance money ect all going of no one getting hurt of course. . . :D i avoided a rear end collision taking the shoulder probably out of instinct, but man dude was an idiot he almost took 2 other people out with him.

Last night I was giving a friend a ride home and this lady rolled her ford exploer right in front of us. I stopped of course and ran across the road to make sure she was ok. I got to her windsheild to talk to her and she was calling her husband. I kept yelling at her to get off the phone. Cause it was on its side and it was smoking. So I broke her rear window and dragged her out. Got her out and she finally realized she had rolled her suv. The roads were really bad last. Nobody should of been driving last night.

I had to drive from South Minneapolis to North of Roseville last night and saw some crazy shit. I saw a firetruck trying to get to a scene slide into an intersection and do a 180.
It was totally insane last night, glad no one got hurt or fucked up their car. I personally didn't have any problems but I just kept it to a reasonable speed and was very aware of everyone around me.
Watching the traffic cams last night was pretty crazy too, lots of mayhem all over the city, was almost like a post apocalypse scene in a movie.

I was driving slow, but was worried more about other drivers than myself. Downhills weren't "tricky" but required good brake modulation to keep from accelerating too much or sliding.
The part I hated the most was waiting at lights and watching the headlights coming up behind me, wondering if they'd stop or not. That and getting stuck behind people with inadequate rubber.

I personally would rather have a manual in bad weather, so much more control when braking and acceleration. And I'm not a fan of traction control cutting the power when trying to accelerate!!!
Yup, traction control, auto and rwd have to be about the 3 worst things you can have. Snow tires are what helped you Febo. haha
I turn off traction and stability control in any snow storm, becuase I hate it and its unpredictable. Also love down shifting and keeping revs up in a manual.
I got up super early on Saturday to go hunting, only got 2 hours of sleep, so by the time I got home around 7 saturday night I just went to bed. No ice rink skating for me! haha

Hahaha this reminds me about the time 4 years ago when you, Hughes, and Laura were all in my 2g in a snowstorm, driving from uptown Drink to Eden Prarie. There were several inches of snow on the roads and I was plowing through it, and you were yelling "keep it above 3000 rpms!" haha good times.
