I have a 2008 Evo X and the clutch is slipping. I'm asking for some opinions on clutches. Let me know which ones are good for a stock Evo.

Your driving style and how you use the car would be great information to help us help you make a decision.

My plan is to go with a WORKS clutch once my stocker starts slipping, but I really hope that won't be for a long time. You can also check out some of Clutchmasters and SPEC's full-face offerings.

A good clutch is one that has smooth engagement while holding your max power.

All joking aside, I'm running the Clutch Masters 2500lb pressure plate and their ceramic 4-puck sprung hub disc. Pretty smooth for a ceramic clutch. Not as smooth as a street disc, once you get used to it, you'll never miss the street disc. But once it's locked, IT STAYS LOCKED. I don't see me wanting any other clutch any time soon.

i would like something that is good for daily driving and sometimes just giving it.

A 2300-2500 lb pressure plate with a street disc will do fine if that's all you want out of it.
