So..... a little update.
Tried to find a nice little civic, got 2 lemons so I said screw that headache.
Did the good ol' cardboard/winter mod to the ranger and it's doing a lot better, my financial plans will have me owning the ranger for about 2-3 more years at least so as with all my cars I will do a little something to it.
The list is:
-Tint (walmart +me = hopefully a win) - right now its like being in a fish tank its weird.
-Get rid of clutch fan and get an electric fan, not only will this help with MPG, but also heating up faster and maintaining a constant running temp.
-Intake, this is just something to make since i do have a welder.
-Seats, the seats in that thing are pretty worn out and if you are a hunchback they would be awesome, right now I have some $15 walmart lumbar support thing that seems to do the trick, but if a cheap option presents itself I will snatch it up.
-Get rid of the cat, this helps with the low end torque (owner feedback). I'm not sure about this one depends how much of a pain it will be.
-stereo, one of the speakers are blown, it doesn't have any rear speakers or speaker covers right now. I think I will just get some for the doors and leave the rears out, I think after I get the tint done I might consider a HU upgrade (one out of the talon)
Oh, and I guess I will be back with pics of the interior because I didnt get a good pic of the woodgrain!!
