Well since my 3g is a glorified Honda (it even has Variable Timing and Lift @ 3800 rpm) Nitrous is or will be the way I will make a feeble high 13's pass. 3g's suck ass.

Why do you say that Enes? I have only heard good things about it and JDM has heard the same (and he has one!).

i have a 6g72 in my stratus, I joined 3geclipse board and 2g stratus board (same engines, except stratus is better looking) when eclipse board only had 450 members and stratus had 70 members. DDP came out and in order to install it you had to re-work his setup completely, it wouldn't fit, it was rubbing on the radiator etc etc. too close to other components and burning/overheating them. a few cars blew up but that could be also due to their fault too...

Overall whoever bought his kit needed to go and have it re-engeniered and re-adjusted to work on the stratus... hell thats how AAMS and RIPP got involved as well, RIPP ended up installing one of the DDP's and from there they got interested into the 6g72. If it wasn't for Mr.Clean who built the stratus first supercharger there who probably paid close to $25k by himself for the first one, there probably wouldn't be a supercharger kit made by RIPP ...

And you can stack them like legos for even more speed:

you are more right than you will ever know.

And 3g's are much better looking than the 2g Stratus

And I have more HP stock.

And I paid less.

Here's the deal...

If he is going to make some power, get some tranny mods, or don't drive fast or hard. I blew up two trannies on stock power (210bhp)

With the limited availability of 3g forced induction, go with the DDP kit. Ryan (Mr Raced) has video of a 2.4 layin it down to a modded SRT-4. And it's a better looking car anyway, right Enes? ;)

If he just wants to catch up after everything beats him, and doesn't wanna get too serious about oil lines, water pumps, injectors and so on (which all should be re-done with the DDP kit), then throw some happy gas at it.

The weak link in these cars is the transmission. The car is underpowered, and overweight. Tell him to gut the car, I went from 15.6 to a 15.0 just on weight mods, and I still had the 6 disc, all the speakers, the bumpers, full stock exhaust, A/C, power windows and locks, leather power drivers seat, etc. Talk to Raptor about weight reduction.

Some of you may know Peter (purple 3g with Altezza's). He's got some nice forced induction, on some really nice supporting mods, and he'd beat just about any SRT on the street, Stage 1 or 2. I won't divulge as to how modded, as that's not my place to say, but it would suprise the hell outta most of you guys too.

The 3Gs need some serious ignition retard help. I did a RIPP mods supercharger on a GTS and it was detonating like crazy. It was one of the early pos kits with too small of injectors, no fuel pump and an HKS AFR that didn't do anything for fuel control. They now have a black bo out for it that can handle fuel and timing, but they won't sell it seperately to turbo guys.

We tried tuning Peters turbo 3G, but even with turbo friendly compression, big injectors and an E-manage controlling fuel it would start audibly detonating hardcore in the 4000RPM range at what should be an acceptable boost level. Some sort of timing control would fix the problem, but nothing seems to work on the 3Gs besides the RIPP black box which they won't sell. Even with low compression, you can't run the kind of timing that an NA car wants to run at a halfway decent boost level. You also can't let the stock knock sensor try to control timing for you. You want to pull timing out before it starts knocking and if you can actually hear a turbo car detonating then you have some problems.
