well i checked the CEL, and its giving me a constant code meaning theres somethin with the ECU. Do you guys think if I switched it with a eprom ecu that it would do something with the car? or will it run normally? Because my uncle has 2 eprom ecu's in his garage from his old GSX, so by switching it, would my car still be good? BTW im only 16 and im a noobie so sorry for all the Q's, jus trying to learn some stuff about these cars.

If your Uncle's ECU's are stock, and so is your car, you shouldn't have a problem. Give it a try.

Did you check what the CEL was yet? I don't understand what "a constant code" means. The reader should be able to tell you something about why the light is on.

a constant buzzing code which is what i got, means the ECU is trying to say there's something wrong with it itself. So since my uncle had 2 eprom ecu's layin in his garage i threw them on an the car was still acting the same so idk what to do now. The problem is that when i would step on the gas pedal lightly at rpms lower than 2k, the car would stutter and the rpms would drop then soon jus die!

With the new ECU's, the CEL is still on or not?

Did you check the code once the new ECU's were in?
