Yay spool!

Whoever said that was laggy needs to ride in a car that actually has bad lag. haha. Even mine I dont view as too bad, same amount of powerband as stock just higher up. Same with yours I'm sure.

Giggidy.

I got a GoPro and was really disappointed with the sound quality. Especially when it's mounted outside the car. It wouldn't be so bad if you could plug a mic in.

Great quality image and easy to mount pretty much anywhere, but aside from that, GoPro sucks.

Actually, I have more powerband than stock, lol, just shifted. I am close to 5k rpm of powerband...maybe closer to 4500 as it drops hard after 8k but its still making a lot of power up there. But I know what you mean ;)

Personally I thought the GoPro was pretty awesome, the video in 1080p looked very good and the sound was livable...this was it in the weatherproof case too. I am going to buy one when I get some fundage for sure.

35% not too dark :D

Yes, HD. I'd consider it depending on the offer but I'm not dying to ditch it quite yet.

As for Murlo's comment, yes the 1080p image is beautiful, but I disagree with the "livable" sound. I think quality sound is the most important aspect of good automotive footage. I could tell the waterproof case was on for your video right away. The sound is worthless with that case. The only thing I haven't tried that might work is the open cover on the interior of the car. Forget getting good audio from the exterior though.

^Meh, it gets the job done for me, the camera is like 200 bucks new or something...what could you possibly expect out of it.

I think it does its intended job great and is worth the money. If you wanted good sound too I would imagine you have to spend double.
