Well, i thought i would post some quick pics of the talon i got. Before i go any further, when i originally looked at this car it was in better shape. The interior was complete, and not disassembled. From the time i looked at it to the time i bought it was about 3 months. The PO was taking parts off it for his other 1g. So i ended up getting the car cheaper.

The car itself is in decent shape. Only rust being on the front fender, looks like couple little paint chips that seen some rain, which we have had alot of. ANd interior is still in good shape. Only piece that isn't there is the right side a pillar trim. The PO did give me a new one though.

Car was running something decent, i think. It has a good sized fmic, was running a GM maf and MAFT, its also setup for meth injection. I will probably undo the meth injection the PO did, so far it doesn't look to good.

Well, anyway, here are the pics.

I bought it with no motor. thats another reason i got it cheap. My buddy has a short block complete with rods and everything that i am gonna rebuild.

Looks decently clean for its age. What are the plans? Any interior shots? Is this the one that was supposed to have the mint interior?

This did have a great interior when i first went and looked at it. BUt that was three months ago. And the guy i bought it from said nothing has changed, but it did. The guy had taken panels off and switched out the rear plastics. He said that i hadn't gotten back to him so he started swapping parts to his other 1g. Which is my fault. It took me three months to get back ahold of him. I will be getting interior pics soon. Was raining yesterday and snowing and windy as hell today so i wasn't outside much.

My plans are picking up a short block to start work on that and just working on it all winter. I would really like to see this thing be a decent DD and sometimes track car. Its not gonna be my main car, i will always have my Subaru for that just in case something breaks.

I may also get into Auto X. It is starting to pick up around here. Hopefully more events next summer. I have a couple friends that say its pretty fun.

I am just waiting for my honda stuff to get picked up than i will have the money to get the short block and to get started on it. Work is gonna be real slow. I have no garage as of yesterday, and i dont think the landlord would be happy if i was rebuilding a motor in the basement.

I hope you didn't pay the originally agreed upon price after not getting the originally agreed upon interior.

No i didn't. He originally wanted $500 for the car with the good interior. And I ended up getting the car for $275. The interior parts he put in aren't all that bad, just really faded. I plan on recovering them this winter. So it wasn't a bad deal. Kinda happy he went cheaper with it. I can deal with some faded interior pieces. The seats are still in good shape. and the dash is too. Not lifted like my laser was.

Wow not bad at all for $275! Try Mother's Back-To-Black for the interior parts.
