Annoying Check Engine. OBD1

Does someone have a scanner/logger that I can pop by and plug in to check my engine light? I've ran to Autozone, Napa, O'reileys, All using OBD2...

I'm feeling like its an EGR code which I have had pop up in the future on my other cars because of a boost leak... well I'm guessing my 2g stock bov is leaking....(have a 1g bov)

Just need to comfirm.

O'Reilly rental units do in fact have the cables for OBD1. Which store did you stop at?

Just go buy an LED or buzzer from Radioshack. Probably a whole $2 and look up the code.
