Well we got back in town after 3 weeks of racing and testing. I am beat. But the car ran some good numbers. This year started like shit. It began with a 24 hour drive straight to Bullish Motoracing. We got the new program in and got the car to run fine. So we dicided to try the 2 step. First time on the 2 step it made 38 PSI shot a rocker arm off, wedged it between the cam and the valve, pushed the valve into the piston and bent the shit out of the valve. That was the night I was suppose to leave for Florida. So I proceeded to work most of the night and the next morning to fix it. About the time the sun came up I was leaving for Florida. I got to Florida and we got the car all back together and running and raced up to make the 1st pass. I ran a 7.96@171 with low boost. 2nd pass It ran 7.77@175. 3rd pass I left the rearend, axels, driveshaft and tranny on the starting line. That was the end of my weekend. I had all the parts except a driveshaft. The following weekend I went to Virginia for the Nopi race. 1st pass I ran 7.82@175. 2nd pass I ran 7.77@175. 3rd pass I set the national record with a 7.59@177. We qualified #1 and won the race. No broken parts. With the numbers I ran we did the math and figured the car is making 1160 HP at the crank.

Just wanted to give you the latest on my heap

It would probably lose traction and go into the wall at that fine track. The old AWD was all over the place trying to run 9s there.

Awesome Brent, if you don't mind me asking, what type of driveshaft do you use? The reason I'm asking is because I'm working on a project here at school involving a custom driveshaft for our 1/4 Scale Tractor Pulling Tractor and it's quite interesting to see the variety of options available for aftermarket driveshafts.

Nice numbers Brent, especially after all the late night candle burning. :3gears:
