Why you should think twice before buying HKS products

This reminds me of some dealings with a very well known DSM vendor several years back.

Initial prices were quoted at HKS' MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) but we quickly realized that several other retailers (including one known HKS direct dealer) were quoting and ultimately selling the kits at a lower price.

Didn't you guys break their MAP though? Do they have somewhere that if you break their MAP that you wont be able to sell their products?

Was the AWD motorsports place one of the other retailers quoting below the MAP?

Fuck evoM! They are dumb asses then if they feel that they don't want the truth to be heard about their own vendors that they are supporting. That's the stupidest shit I have ever seen. That just makes EvoM look bad that they would rather have them as a "good" vender instead of people knowing the truth.

Much like DSMTuners deleting countless threads and banning dozens of members for bad-mouthing and spreading the truth about Slowboy Racing. Lots of politics happen on National boards.

They are only allowed to require a minimum displayed price, but cannot legally require a minimum sales price, right? The fact that they would do this to legitimate dealers and customers is disgusting. It shows they they clearly care more about a reputation that can generate high profits than providing quality products and services.
