might be buying a sled

i was lookin at a 93 570 liquid cooled exciter good track and in awesome condition. Just wonderin what its worth and if i can mod it at all really. I was told if you put a pipe on them theyll blow up?

in real good condition i would say $500 or less. its pretty doubtful that it would blow up with a pipe lol. the only thing i could see happening is burning up the valves possibly. Honestly i would bother with a pipes i would just go with a can. sno-stuff and SLP make some pretty good products as far as cans go.

Clutches>Exhaust for snowmobile modding. Makes a much bigger difference IMO.

I would just skip new clutch springs and weights, and just throw in some hollow pins. That fucker will peg 8k before you can blink :D < I take no responsiblitly if you follow what i just said lol. if you do follow what i said expect a blown motor shortly unless your mainly gonna do mountain riding, but i doubt it since its an exciter

Yea dont waste your money on an exciter. Just buy my 2007 ski-doo rev 800. its got an HPS high altitude can, 6 inch riser, RSI flat bars, 136" track with 2 1/4 inch paddles.
$4500 and its yours.

Id pass on this one. Try to find something from the early 2000 or newer, your body will thank you. The ride on the newer sleds is considerably better then anything in the 90's.

I have a sled that would be great for you. Iam upgrading to an iq. Its a 98 zl 500 with low miles I think around 2000 miles. It has a 1 3/8 paddle track and a mbrp can. The sled is a awesome. Looking for 800 or best offer
