I've inhaled and I prefer beer. I think we should take Canada's approach.

I was talking to some guys at the track...we all think we're safer doing 110 at BIR than commuting. A lot of people shouldn't be driving.

If cali leagalizes it for recreational use which I think they will, colorado and a few other states will be right behind them. Pot is probably the #1 illegal drug in america and it isint as bad as alcohol and you can still drive a car if your stoned out of your mind. Legalization means less people in prison from stupid pot laws, less criminal/gang activity involving pot, and you can tax it as well as the fact that there would be alot less stressed out people out there with road rage, suicide, ect.! California has problems with mexican gangs forcing people to setup illegal grow operations in national parks telling them they are going to kill a kidnaped family member if they don't. You cut out there #1 profit drug and gangs take a huge hit not to mention saving alot of money by not prosecuting people for petty weed crimes. Only thing is you can't sell it at gas stations where kids can get it, have to have a dispensary to get it at.

I see the poll shows there is a large number of pot heads on this forum or everyone agrees that pot really isin't that bad and should be legal. And companies can still drug test and fire you even if it is legal so not everyone is going to become a pothead if it becomes legal.

I don't agree that driving stoned is safe. Maybe safer, and that depends on who your ask and what statistics you want to look at. But it definitely is not safe. I don't think I want my pilot stoned when I'm flying either, but that's just me.

You want to do it, stay your ass home and smoke all you want. I'm ok with the legalization of it because I believe what you do in your own home is your business until it becomes a danger to others around you.

But to even remotely insinuate that you could/should smoke and drive is ridiculous. Either you don't smoke and are making assumptions about it's affects, or you do, but your hook up is hookin you up with some low budget crap weed. I used to smoke regularly from when I started in high school for about 10 yrs and I can tell you I never thought about wanting to get behind the wheel because it does impair your thinking and reaction times. Considering today's weed has much higher levels of THC than when I smoked it, you are only taking your life and innocent others for a very risky ride. Want that on your conscious if something happens?
