Sounds like it was a great year, I might have to venture out there again next year, it's been a while.
That weigh station is a bitch. My dad got pulled over with his car hauler and handed about $1500 in fines, and he didn't even have any cars on the trailer.
Luckily we didn't get any fines (that I'm aware of lol) it will just go on my US DOT record and needs to be fixed before my safety audit. Chalk it up as lessons learned!

That was an intense read. Glad you guys made it there and back safely.
Reminds me of the car I drove to Milwaukee to autocross breaking on the course and having to get it towed home just two weeks ago.

I won't attempt to jump out of the trailer next time with the floor jack in hand.... That kinda hurt my ribs lol!!! Thanks again for all the fun besides the trip out Chris!! I did enjoy myself even though I drove like 70% of the time lol. That trip from PTE to shep was a long ass drive in that Hauler!!!

Don't worry about the long drive as I'm going to have to set you guys up with a hotel next time apparently lol.

Kinda reminds me of my last trip to the shootout where my F350 broke down at the hotel, the DSM wouldn't run in the rain and the event was rained out, and I stayed in the hotel for almost a week afterwards waiting for my truck to be fixed, driving a rented Mazda3. I haven't been back since. :P

Atleast we could make light of situations, and share some laughs.
More drivers for E-town?

Great story! You made it there and back in one piece, and actually competed. HIGH FUCKING FIVE! Nice work MAP!

More drivers won't matter unfortunately as that sleeper isn't big enough to count as off duty time :( We're going to have to post up in a hotel for a night or send one driver alone for 11 hours and fly the other driver out to rest and then take over somewhere in Indiana or Ohio...
