So after having some little problems with my car, i have it running again. Only to find out my maf is not good. Now, i have a friend that wrecked his car and is selling his speed density harness and sensors for cheap. Now all the searching i have done talks about people using the setup with some sort of tuning. And i was just wondering if you can run it on a stock ECU. I am saving up some money to buy a dsm link. So i will have some sort of data logging in the hopefully near future. Just kinda wanna get the car back on the road. Thanks.

just replace the MAF, get it running good, THEN look at SD. Otherwise you'll just be compounding your problems.
Shane @DB can tune you on SD on the stock ecu w/ a chip flash, give him a call.

Cool. I will probably still pickup the speed density stuff just to have it. And i gotta start looking for a new MAF. I think the guy that bought my parts car might have an extra one. I was hoping that I could take my car tomorrow but it will have to wait.
I still need to find out if my ecu is an eprom or not. I did find a guy selling an eprom ecu and dsm link v 2.5(not 100% sure on the version) For like $425. It sounds like a good deal, but i dont know much about pricing on these.
Thanks.

Link dropped their prices recently down tto $495 new I believe. Depending on what you want to do I would try and get the extra money to get V3.

Well, i would like to do alot of things. lol. Just money holds me back. right now i am just trying to replace things that are worn out, like the stock intercooler hoses. I think they might be leaking, I haven't had time to make a boost leak tester. They are cracked to hell. Oh well.
