I do like a little competition but the smile on my face is what I'm after at these events, getting my personal times down and trading notes with people is just part of it (and I do love that part too!).
That's one of the things that keeps me coming back. When you're competing against other people and there's a tenth, or even a hundredth of a second separating you and a few other drivers (just ask Brandon about the Milwaukee divisional) it really gets the blood flowing. It's all business when you come up to the line, but when you cross the finish line and see the time and it's what you are looking for, you can't help but holler, pump your fist out the window, hear the announcer say your time and your own little cheering section on the sideline applauding for you, even people you are competing against, it's one of the best things ever.
