Now what we need is a system that can constantly recharge itself that we can bolt up to our 1g or 2g transmissions.... Electric rally anyone?

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't it possible to have an alternator or generator that can charge just a bit more than the vehicle would use?

I don't think an alternator would keep up the amount of amps you would use during a race.
