I just saw some of them go through the auto auction last week. They're not bad, not the same quality as something like a small Honda scooter, but not bad for the price. Make sure to ask where you would get parts from if something should go bad. If there aren't some US distribution points for them, it might not be worth buying.

I really want a pocket bike myself. If I can just free up about $700 for a used Blata.
The quality isn't the same as a Honda or Yamaha....but considering they sell new for the price of a 15 year old Yami or Honda I think it is a great deal. I have ridden them and they are very nice. I have already located many parts distributors within the United States that are directly supplied from Geely.

Meh... Im not one for scooters. I would look for a 250cc small cruiser bike or something.

Those things are for side street use only... limits you alot.
You must realize that I already have a 500cc bike and that this is not for me. [/b][/quote]
I do realize that I read the post ;) But 50cc isnt going to get you very far. Just to putz around on side streets. And you still need to get a full blown license in order to drive one.. so why not find a little bigger bike so people can see and here you better.

Not trying to down scooters... if thats the way she wants to go that is fine... just saying youll prolly get more moneys worth out of something that has no limits.

Actually you don't need to get a motorcycle license for it...a regular driver's license is all that is needed. The thing does about 30-35 mph stock...but modded they can do up to 50mph. She does not want to ride a real motorcycle, she wants something small that she can just tool around on and is easy to handle (she weighs less than 100 pounds).

Got a black with silver lower trim yesterday. It's awsome to ride...forget my Ninja!

Becky didn't much like the teal. I thought she would thats why I picked it out. The black/silver looks awsome.

I would buy on for myself.

But they are like fat girls,

"fun to ride until your friends see you on one". :jammin: :headache:

I am not embarassed of the thing. I'd trade either of the two Ninja's I've owned to get my Yamaha 200cc scooter back. They are just plain more fun to ride. I began feeling that way about one week after I sold my Yamaha. I have my car to go fast...these are just something to kick-back and relax with.
