It is ridiculous cheap.
Especially considering John is willing to install it!

if your going on a budget just get an XTD 6 puck off ebay and rock that for a couple of years. i know of numerous local cars running them with good results

Xtd clutches are great. I have bought 4 of them so fair never had a problem. Just put a 6 puck unsprung in my car works great. in my old talon I had a xtd sprung 6 puck I put that thing thourgh hell and back. Drove home from porkys stuck in thrid gear. Clutch looked new when I pullied it out.

I love my XTD too. I have about 33 launches at grove creek on it and it's still the best clutch I've had.

Push vs pull, won't work.

As well as the physical size being different, and the input shaft spline/size.

xtd sprung 6 puck. some how 123abc is so rough on his that he messes up the springs and went unsprung but he has nothing but love or XTD and convinced me to buy my xtd set

For a street car I say you need the sprung hub. From what I have seen SBC is the only company using an almost fully enclosed spring in the hub. I have yet to see a spring fail in a newer style South Bend Cluch hub.
