It probably won't be a street car for long though...
We started throwing this Evo together on Tuesday before the MAP BIR Event. It already had 2.3l stroker and some good parts on it. After a few problems with a cracked intake manifold and a fuel pump failure we got to make some good numbers very late Friday night. The car still needs a lot of work. The intercooler is performing well and we maxed the 2200cc injectors. We couldn't raise the base pressure either, because we were out of pump also. The power is enough for now, we need to work on suspension, fuel system, bigger intercooler, slicks/wheels, brakes, shifting, etc so that it will actually run a good time at the track.
Best time so far was 10.0@151.7 on some drag radials that we borrowed from Ron at RS Motors. The drag radials were a bit too small for this power and it was still spinning them down the track. We are hoping for low/mid 9s eventually and traps in the 155-160mph range. It's still more of a street car than a drag car at this point, so hopefully going more towards a drag setup and some more driver experience it will be able to do it. The car and driver kept getting faster with more and more passes last weekend

Not the best run of the day, but the only video I could find.
