This storm rolled through Newton, IA while I was at Iowa Speedway, it was pretty wicked. The radar was honestly a scary sight, everyone in the garage there was just waiting to run into the storm shelter.

Wow thats nuts, especially the mangled cars. Couple years ago there was literally a tornado forming above my house, I walked outside and looked up, and saw the rotation in the clouds, and hauled ass back inside. It ended up not getting anywhere near touching down, but some big trees got taken out just from the wind before hand.

Was that Saturday night? They stopped the ChumpCar race for 4 hours early Sunday morning because of the severe weather, lightning all over (within a mile of the race track), crazy winds. I got woken up a few times in the camper that night after we called it quits, and woke up one time when there weren't any cars running, was pretty weird and just assumed it was because of the weather.
